Pakistan Civil aviation authority – CAA announced that travelers will have to take a mandatory coronavirus test before entering in Pakistan.
This will be effective from Saturday March 21, 2020 and all global incoming passengers to Pakistan Airports will need the original test result at the point of disembarkation in Pakistan. The test results must include the name and passport number of the passenger. The Airline operatives will not permit any traveler to board without results.
CAA also directed all airlines to fumigate their airplanes each time passengers board and land the aircraft, according to global recognized measures. International flight operations will revert to all international Airports except Turbat and Gwadar Airports with effect from March 21, 2020.
